The Kaduna bound train attack is one bare-faced example of a presidency that has lost its compass and leadership roadmap. It is inhuman, agonizingly pulsating, and markedly wicked to continue to render condolence messages when the opportunity to arrest the situation is right within the purview of government. The train attack is the height of crass incompetence and failure of government to pursue its statutory responsibilities as encapsulated in the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Afegbua, a vocal critic of the former Vice President, described the comment as self serving, even as he called on the leadership of the party to zone the 2023 Presidential ticket to the South.
It is confounding to see that the Atiku Abubakar which Afegbua riled in his outburst is the same Atiku who he spoke in favour of some two years back! Clearly, Afegbua’s treatise is a murder of good conscience and loyalty.
Afegbua who played a prominent role in the crisis that led to the suspension of former PDP national chairman, Prince Uche Secondus also tasked the National Working Committee, NWC of the party led by Senator Iyorchia Ayu to leverage on its good start by going South to get its Presidential flag bearer in the next elections.
It was the second time in two months Afegbua had raised the alarm over the alleged mismanagement of and gradual disintegration of the party under Secondus, which he noted had led to the gradual exodus of chieftains of the party to the opposition All Progressives Congress.
In a statement he endorsed on Friday, Afegbua said Secondus is bereft of ideas and lacks the capacity to lead a virile opposition.
Daura had invited Afegbua for an interview at 11am on Thursday but was not in the office until 6:55pm when he left the DSS headquarters in Abuja with his lead lawyer, Dr. Kayode Ajulo
