Chikwendu is the 2nd defendant in the 14-count amended charge that bordered on alleged threat to the lives of witnesses lined up in the alleged attempted murder charge against her and three others.

The offence, listed as count 14 in the new amended charge, was alleged to have been committed by Chikwendu and Emmanuel Anakan, a co-defendant, Wednesday within the premises of the Federal High Court, Abuja.
Chikwendu, alongside others, will be re-arraigned by the police authorities before Justice Inyang Ekwo on 14-count charge.
The release of the photographs, Chikwendu said, was to silence those criticising late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu.
Chiwendu is the former wife of ex-Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, the applicant in the matter.
When the matter was called on Monday, however, Chikwendu was absent in court and there was no legal representation on her behalf.
She spoke in a conversation with a friend who was filming her with her feet in a swimming pool as seen in a viral video.
The lawyer reacted to claims by Chikwendu that Fani-Kayode never had sex with her for six years via her Twitter handle.
The actress and model and Fani-Kayode are currently battling for the custody of the four children from their marriage.

The court fixed the date following the inability of Justice Inyang Ekwo to preside at the Wednesday’s sitting.
Precious instituted a fundamental rights enforcement suit against Fani-Kayode, the Inspector-General of Police (I-GP) and his officers, claiming N800 million as damages.
In the petition obtained by our correspondent on Tuesday, she alleged a case of threat to her life and harassment using the Nigerian Police.
Fani-Kayode and Chikwendu welcomed four boys while they were still a couple.Â
According to the court papers filed by her lawyer, Abdul-Aziz Jimoh, Precious listed Fani-Kayode, Inspector-General of Police as defendants. Other respondents listed in the suit include the Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Force CID, Commissioner of Police, FCT, CSP James Idachaba (OC Legal CID), FCT Command.
