Operators in the Nigerian Stock Market on Tuesday attributed low participation of Pension Fund Administrators in equities market to unimpressive returns.

Peter Aghahowa, the Head of Corporate Communication of the National Pension Commission, has advised retirees to visit their Pension Fund Administrators in order to ascertain their level of qualification for the pension enhancement.
The Head, Corporate Communications, PenCom, Peter Aghahowa, gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos.
Muhammad told the News Agency of Nigeria, on Saturday in Minna that N1.4 billion would be paid to relations of dead retirees, while N780 million would be sunk into the payment of retirement benefits.
The commission also disclosed that the PFAs invested N4.22 trillion in Federal Government’s bonds, Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria got N10.91 billion; Sukuk bonds, N53.15 billion; and green bonds, N6.96 billion.
A statement signed by the Acting Director-General of PenCom, Aisha Dahir-Umar, in Abuja said the warning was to prevent pensioners and pension contributors from being duped.
