The Ondo State Government said on Wednesday in Akure that it had approved N1.5 billion for the take-off of a cancer treatment centre in the state.

Speaking to newsmen after the state executive meeting of the party, Senator Tayo Alasoadura, representing Ondo Central Senatorial District of the state, said the option was endorsed to forestall difficulties and crises, come 2019 elections.
Ogungbemi stated this at the end of the party congress and election of new executives at the secretariat of the party on Monday in Akure.
Addressing the committee in Akure, Akeredolu identified inconsistent land policies, uncoordinated execution, poor monitoring and evaluation as factors militating against effective governance of the land sector.
Akeredolu made the plea when the executive of the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria paid him a courtesy visit on Monday in Akure.
Speaking with newsmen on Friday in Akure, Olubunmi Ademosu, the Special Adviser to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Public and Intergovernmental Relations, said that government was not involved nor informed of such activity.

In his speech while signing the bill in Akure, Akeredolu that his administration would concentrate more on capital projects to bridge the huge infrastructure deficit in the state.
