The Director General of the group, Hon Oladimeji Fabiyi whose AASG is the umbrella body for the management and coordination of all registered support groups promoting the 2023 presidential agenda of Atiku Abubakar made the assertion while responding to groups allegedly claiming to be linked to the former Vice President, but have withdrawn their support.

Abubakar announced this in a statement on Saturday in Benin.
This was disclosed in a statement by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Colonel Austin Akobundu (retd), on Thursday in Abuja.
Abubakar said this in response to a statement credited to Sagay that he was denied American visa because of allegations of corruption against him.
The AASG in a press statement signed by its Coordinator, Oladimeji Fabiyi, said the Buhari administration was least qualified to pass a remark about ideas geared towards modernizing and optimizing the operations of the Nigerian oil and gas sector, and indeed of any other sector of the economy.
Reacting to the violent attack on the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Office in Katsina State by unknown persons, Fabiyi warned that if political leaders fail to check the excesses of their own supporters, free and fair elections might be jeopardised in the country.
Abubakar made the call during the launch of a website for one of his support groups, Concerned Citizens For Atiku
