Receiving the former office holders  made up of former councillors, secretaries to the local governments, vice chairmen and chairmen at the Presidential Lodge, Abeokuta,  Abiodun described them as loyal, dedicated and astute grassroots politicians who, in the past, served the state diligently.

The defendants are Martins Orisamoluwa, 45, an Estate Agent of 2, Dele Ajayi Close, Egbeda, Lagos State; and Kolawole Fasunuwa, 46, an artist, a resident of 10A, Shina Kuforiti Street, Ota, Ogun State.

Speaking at the award ceremony held in Abuja, Prince Abiodun noted the important roles of Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in Industrialized process, hence the various measures put in place to encourage its growth in the state

The concerned party members, in a petition addressed to Ayu and signed by Abiola Adeola and Ademola Nasir, said the alleged fresh primary election is fraudulent and will never stand the test of legal scrutiny.

The governor who stated this when he inspected the ongoing construction of the 25-kilometres Illisan- Ago-Iwoye road, said his government would repair or construct any road that would bring in more investors and enhance the economy of the state.
