Normal activities have resumed at the Oba Akran Avenue area of Lagos State after a helicopter crashed in the area Tuesday.

The chopper, whose details were yet unknown, was said to explode as soon as it landed on the building located – adjacent AP filling station and United Bank for Africa (UBA) along Oba Akran axis. .
This was contained in a statement by the Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde, in Lagos on Friday.
The palace of the Akran in Jegba quarters attracted many people including royal fathers from Badagry communities, prominent sons and daughters of the land, drummers and different groups of dancers.
At the ceremony, which held inside the Palace of Oba Akran, the prominent monarch stated that the reason Otunba Adams was offered the chieftaincy was in recognition of his contributions to the promotion of the tourism sector in Badagry through Olokun Festival Foundation, which yearly organizes Olokun Festival that had been held in the last 15 years.
