The announcement of the presidential election results in Oyo State has commenced with the Peoples Democratic Party taking an early lead in the results of five local government areas as so far declared.
The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party as winner of Oredo Federal Constituency, with a score of 32, 895 votes.

Results from three of the four local government areas that make up Kwara Central Senatorial District, where Saraki is flying the flag of the Peoples Democratic Party, as at Sunday evening showed that he is trailing the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Ibrahim Oloriegbe, by 33,358 votes.
In Asa Local Government Area, Saraki scored 11,252 votes, while Oloriegbe polled 15,932 votes.
For Ilorin East Local Government Area, the PDP candidate polled 14,654 votes, with Oloriegbe coasting home with 30,014.
In Ilorin South Local Government Area, Oloriegbe scored 26,331 votes to Saraki’s 13,013 votes.
The tally showed the APC candidate has scored a total of 72,277 votes, while Saraki has 38,919.
It is only the results from Ilorin West Local Government that were being expected as at press time.
The state has since announced the winners of the Senatorial and House of Representatives elections, with the presidential results already on its was to Abuja.
