Browsing: Niger boat mishap

Buhari, in a release on Monday by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, noted that he joins the governments and the people of Kwara and Niger states as they continue to receive dozens of dead bodies and a hundred-plus others still unaccounted for.

According to reports, no fewer than 60 bodies have been recovered after the boat  capsized on Tuesday night at Gbajibo River in Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State. 

The recovery of the bodies was made by NIWA Marshalls, officials of the National Emergency Management Agency and local divers.
