Speaking at an audience on Thursday in Abuja with members of the Board and Management of the Nigeria Economic Support Group (NESG), the President reiterated his unequivocal resolve to fully implement the eight priority reform areas under the Renewed Hope Agenda within the next three years.

The call, according to them, is necessitated by the rate of hunger, malnutrition and lack of nutrients in the food system in the country, which aid impairment of physical and mental growth among citizens especially children under the ages of five.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Joda, a former Permanent Secretary and founding member of NESG, died on Friday in Yola, Adamawa at the age of 91.
The process which started in 2019 and expected to be completed in September 2021, is a key part of the 2019-2023 Blueprint for the Rapid Revitalisation of the Nigerian University System.
The group stated that wrong policy choices were capable of casting a strain on the economy, citing the closure of land borders as one of such policies that ended up exacerbating the county’s economic challenges.
He said this on Monday in Abuja, while declaring open the 26th Nigerian Economic Summit with the theme: “Building Partnerships for Resilience’’.
The Vice-President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, gave the commendation on Monday during the opening of the 24th Nigeria Economic Summit in Abuja.
The Nigerian Economic Summit Group has appointed Niyi Yusuf and Onyeche Tifase, who are presently Non-Executive Directors as new Vice-chairmen of the board.
The NESG had on October 15 presented the report of the summit to President Muhammadu Buhari.
The report was received by Babachir Lawal, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, on behalf of President Buhari after the three-day summit
