Abiru enjoined all believers who obeyed Allah’s commandment to fast in the Holy month of Ramadan not to relent in demonstrating Godly virtues and eschew vices they avoided during the fasting  in obedience to divine command.

Abiodun, in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta, sent his condolences to the people of Egbaland in particular, the state and the Muslim Ummah in general.

A new Executive Secretary for the Muslim Ummah of Southwest Nigeria, Prof. Muslih Tayo Yahya, has formally assumed office as the Chief Executive Officer of the umbrella body of all Muslims in the South West of Nigeria.

An Islamic group, the Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria, has called on Nigerians particularly those who have attained the age of voting, especially in the South-West to collect their Permanent Voter Cards to be able to participate in the 2019 general elections.

The group, under the aegis of South Eastern Muslims of Nigeria, also congratulated the leaderships of the Ummah, led by the Sultan of Sokoto and President General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’adu Abubakar II, for guidance, which has led to the unity of the Muslims of Nigeria in observing the holy month without differences.
