At an investigative hearing organised by House of Representatives Committee on Capital Market and Institutions on the issue, the minister said the suspension was in line with public service rules.

In a statement on Friday by her media aide, Oluyinka Akintunde, Adeosun said she had noticed some publications in the media on the issue, which tended towards blackmail on the issue.
