The protest turned violent on Tuesday in Second Rainbow area of Mile 2 when operatives of the Lagos State Task Force on Environmental Sanitation and other Offences made to enforce the law banning the commercial motorcyclists on some roads.

The Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit (Taskforce) has issued a seven days “Removal Notice” to owners/occupants of illegal structures/shanties, mechanic workshops, containerised kiosks and commercial bus garages around Government Public Schools at Mile 2, Badagry Expressway, Lagos.
No fewer than two persons and five vehicles were burnt on Wednesday morning at Barracks Bus Stop, along Mile 2 on Badagry Expressway after a 33,000 litre fuel tanker fell and exploded.
