Ehiguese Mildred Peace, representing Adamawa State, emerged as the new Miss Nigeria at the grand finale of the beauty pageant held in Lagos, while Rita Chinedu, representing Delta State, and Benjamin Anne Ufuomanefe, representing Ondo State, were first and second runner-ups.
Ehiguese, 24, said this after she emerged the overall winner out of the 41finalists that contested for the coveted position in the early hours of Friday.
The pageant’s organiser and publisher of The Daily Times of Nigeria, Fidelis Anosike, had said that he is using the show to define the Nigerian woman.
