Laolu Akande, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Office of the Vice President, gave the highlights of the emergency virtual NEC meeting anchored on Friday from the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting that was presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Council Chamber of the State House approved a N12.66 trillion budget for each of the three fiscal years.

The House of Representatives, on Wednesday, passed the 2019 to 2021 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper for the 2019 fiscal year.
