In a release issued by CACOL and signed by Tola Oresanwo, the anti-corruption organization’s Director, Administration and Programmes on behalf of its Chairman, Debo Adeniran, he stated, “We were flabbergasted with the news that some Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) are yet to remit over N2 trillion to the Consolidated Revenue Fund (CRF) of the Federal Government between 2014 and 2020. This disclosure was made by Chairman, Senate Committee on Finance, Senator Solomon Adeola (APC- Lagos), in a statement by Kayode Odunaro, his Media Adviser recently”.

SERAP said: “Any such investigation should establish whether public funds have been mismanaged, diverted or stolen in the guise of implementing the duplicated and mysterious projects. Anyone suspected to be responsible should face prosecution as appropriate, if there is sufficient admissible evidence, and any stolen public funds should be fully recovered.”

The Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Titiloye Charles, disclosed this when the management of the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Adesegun Fatusi, paid him a courtesy visit in his office on Friday in Akure.

The state governor, Seyi Makinde, while inaugurating the systems at the state Secretariat in Ibadan on Thursday said that the initiative would fast track the processes and activities of government.
