Senator Magnus Abe has been declared winner of the direct primary for the 2019 Governorship election conducted by a faction of the All Progressives Congress party in Rivers.
Abe gave the threat when his faction of the APC held a rally in Bori, Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers on Thursday.
Abe made the assertion in Port Harcourt on Tuesday while reacting to the NWC’s approval of indirect primaries in Rivers.
While Wike is of the Peoples Democratic Party, Abe and Amaechi belong to the All Progressives Congress
Amaechi said this in a statement by his Media Office on Sunday.
The legislators, led by Senator Magnus Abe, disclosed that Buhari has done what we will earn him second term in Rivers State, but Amaechi’s conduct in the state is a threat to the President’s achievements.
Magnus made the denial in an interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt on Monday while reacting to allegations that he was hobnobbing with the opposition to fight the party.
Abe, in a statement issued in Port Harcourt by his spokesperson, Parry Saroh Benson, said Amaechi has publicly declared that he will not support his governorship aspirations.
