The Local Organising Committee of the Lagos Open Tennis on Tuesday visited Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos to seek his continued support for the championships.

Ogba, at a press conference, said the contingents had been informed earlier to send in their arrival schedule early but they did not do so until two days to their arrival.
Participants would include local and International experts with diverse areas of specialization to contribute to finding relevant solutions to the multi-sectoral nature of lead poisoning in Nigeria.
Jonathan Nnaji, the Vice President of the LOC for the Modern Pentathlon Youth Olympics qualifier, Africa and Senior African Championship, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja.
The match will hold in Lagos on April 29 at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos State
