The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Farouk Yahaya, stated this at a media parley in Owerri, Imo State on Monday.

Yahaya said this at a fire power and tactical manoeuvre demonstration at a seven-day Combat Arms Week Training.

While commending the Nigerian Army for their sustainable attacks on the criminals who have been causing mayhem on the citizens across the country he charged them to deal with criminals just like in a war.

He said this on Wednesday shortly after he was decorated with the rank of Lieutenant General.
