The governor, who made the announcement during an unscheduled visit to the institution in Ogbomoso, said the reduction would cut across all students, irrespective of their statuses.

A statement issued on Saturday by Taiwo Adisa, his Chief Press Secretary, said that the declaration followed the termination of the joint ownership of the university by the Oyo and Osun state governments.
