The suspects, who have been charged before the Special Offences Court sitting in Ogba, were arrested in an early morning operation carried out by men of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps recently inaugurated by the State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode
This followed the order by the Lagos State Acting Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, to the Lagos State Task Force to commence the dislodging of the illegal traders on roads and walkways in order to reduce traffic gridlock around markets across the state
