The National/State House of Assembly Elections Petitions Tribunal sitting in Lagos on Wednesday upheld the election of Senator Wasiu Eshilokun-Sanni of the All Progressives Congress as the duly elected representative of Lagos Central Senatorial District.

The bill among others, seeks to establish the Medical Emergency Assistance Fund to cover the treatment of victims of gunshot, knife wounds, and other life threatening emergencies.
The approval followed the consideration of the report of the Joint Committee on Communications, Science and Technology, ICT and Cyber Crimes, and Primary Health Care and Communicable Diseases.
The bill, which scaled second reading on Tuesday, was sponsored by Senator Oluremi Tinubu (APC, Lagos Central).
This was the thrust of a gathering of 66 future leaders selected across the three senatorial districts of Lagos State: Lagos West, Lagos Central and Lagos East, in honour of Asiwaju Tinubu as he clocks 66.
The Senators: Gbenga Ashafa (Lagos East), Oluremi Tinubu (Lagos Central) and Solomon Olamilekan (Lagos West), who paid a visit to the Governor at Lagos House, Ikeja, said they were proud of his achievements and the renewed vigour he had brought to bear since he assumed office.
