The state Commissioner for Information and Communication, Alhaji Mahmud Ajeigbe, disclosed this while speaking with newsmen in llorin.
Ajeigbe said some of the affected schools, which were mainly primary and secondary schools, failed to satisfy conditions laid down for the establishment of schools

He said the outcomes of the exercise showed an estimated N225 billion deficit value of infrastructure across all the 16 local government areas and spanning all sectors, which required both government and private investment in order to boost the state’s productivity and wealth creation

The Deputy Governor explained that the State Government was working hard to address the trend with its various youth empowerment programmes.
He charged the Directorate to be alive to its responsibility and work towards reducing the rate of unemployment in the Country
