Contrary to the widely held view that his killing about 16 months ago was politically motivated, the kingpin of the lawmaker’s death, who confessed to have pulled the trigger, Kola Arobiole, 30, was among the 22 suspects arrested for various criminal offences ranging from armed robbery to ritual, cultism, theft and burglary.
