Governors of the 36 states of the federation and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja have been advised to open special accounts where big and small companies as well as public spirited individuals could donate money in aid of the battle against the scourge of Coronavirus Disease being individually and collectively fought by the states and federal governments.

Prof. Benedict Okey Oramah, calls for special attention. Interestingly, a coterie of eager aspirants have thrown down the gauntlet, believing that given Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the incumbent governor’s low rating with the poor masses who have had to bear the brunt of his unprecedented brutal and elitist policies, there is no better time to knock him off the governorship pedestal
