Daniel Iworiso-Markson, Commissioner for Information in Bayelsa State, who confirmed the development to News Agency of Nigeria on Sunday, said the State Government was still assessing the damage caused by the disaster.
A statement by the state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, described the tour as an eye-opener as the people became more aware of the benefits of the reforms.

The amount, according to Jonah, included statutory allocation of N1.3 billion, derivation N3 billion, Value Added Tax N575, exchange differential of N62 million, ESCROW Account N230 million, refund from Rivers State N57 million, while budget support, which is a Federal Government loan to states, stood at N1.4 billion
According to him, the state government has paid a total of N62 billion on bonds obtained by the immediate past administration of Timbre Sylva, while over N61 billion has so far been deducted at source by the Federation Accounts Allocation Committee for loans and over-payments to the previous administration
