Joshua’s rematch with unified heavyweight champ Oleksandr Usyk is currently in major doubt as the Ukrainian is on the frontline defending his nation against a Russian invasion.
The British star is now set to face Usyk in a rematch after talks of a step-aside offer to allow Tyson Fury to face the Ukrainian collapsed.
The pair went through twelve hard rounds at heavyweight behind-closed-doors back in May, which could have gone either way but Parker prevailed on a narrow split-decision.
Joshua is expected to defend his IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles against mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev on December 12, and Joyce will meet his fellow unbeaten British contender Daniel Dubois.
The 23-year-old Notting Hill banger sparred with Dubois when they were teenagers at the famous Dale Youth Club and, prior to the coronavirus pandemic, had been brought in to get “Dynamite” ready for his upcoming bout with Joe Joyce.
