As countdown begins to the 4th Journalists International Forum For Migration (JIFORM) Global Migration summit in Toronto, Canada, the President of the non-profit body of over 300 journalists and other volunteers, Dr Ajibola Abayomi, has held a strategic meeting with a former Secretary of State and Minister of Immigration in Canada, Honourable Gerry Weiner and a Director of Immigration, James Metcaife.

The hybrid event both in person and virtual is themed: Appraising Human Mobility and Security: Prospects and the New Challenges of Labour Migration Post Pandemic Era.

Apart from attending the summit targeted at harnessing the potentials of migration and its benefits to humanity, some of the participants are also billed to undertake a certification course on migration and diaspora matters at the university according to the President/Executive Director of JIFORM, Dr Ajibola Abayomi.

A notification letter from the school signed by its Annex Director of Studies, Porto Novo, Dr Ajijola Issac reads thus: “The Governing Council of our University has ratified the conferment of Ph D (Honoris Causa) in Public Administration on you on 29 January 2022.
