A 30-year-old man, Victor Udeh, was on Friday docked at an Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly breaking into a house with the intention to steal.

The defendant, of no fixed address, is facing a two-count charge of conduct likely to cause breach of peace and assault.
The Magistrate, T. A. Shotobi, said the defendant should remain behind bars pending sentence.
Onuoha, whose address was not provided, was charged with assault and causing grievous bodily harm.
Rapheal, whose address was not provided, is facing a charge of stealing, to which he pleaded guilty.
The two defendants: Ruka Tayo, 38; and Jimoh Abiola, 35, whose addresses were not provided, are standing trial on a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy to commit an offence and assault.
The police charged El-Hakeem, whose address was not provided, with causing grievous hurt.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
A 25-year-old man, Michael Adesugba, on Thursday appeared in an Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly beating up a staff of the Ikeja Electric Plc.
The accused are: Ademola Solomon, 23; Nweke Christian, 24; Sunday Ikoh, 24; and Lawal Afolabi, 21.
Bashiru, a resident of Gbodo area, Ewu Owa community in Ikorodu, is being tried on a count charge of assault, an offence he denied committing.
Adeshina, who resides at No. 13, Anjorin Street, Ikorodu, had pleaded not guilty to a charge of rape.
They are: Kehinde Alimot, 40; Bukola Ahmed, 32; Ifeanyi Kanu, 22; Owolabi Ibrahim, 39; Aikulola Olamiji, 54; and Jamiu Yussuf, 39.
The prosecutor, Bosede Adegeshin, said Kachala committed the offence on June 25 at Unity Estate, Itamaga in Ikorodu at 3am.
The accused: Ronti Echiye, 47; Rafiu Akeem, 45; and Animashaun Segun, 39, faced a seven count charge.
