Aiyedatiwa described the event as a significant step in strengthening the judiciary and advancing the administration of justice in the state.

The development was revealed in a statement by the spokesman of the National Judicial Council, Soji Oye, on Friday
The request was contained in a letter read on the floor during plenary by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan.
They are: Justice Uuter Dery, Justice Mustapha Logoh, Justice Gilbert Addo and Justice Charles Quist. The decision takes immediate effect.
He said that without justice there would be no peace, and urged the judiciary to stand firm and uphold justice without fear or favour.
Speaking at the occasion, Obaseki said that his administration remains committed to strengthening the state judicial system for optimal justice delivery and sustenance of the democratic process.
