The Heads of the international observation missions in Nigeria have urged the Independent National Electoral Commission to strictly adhere to the new dates it scheduled for the general elections.

The African Union on Friday says its Electoral Observation Mission (AU-EOM) is set for Nigeria’s February 16 and March 2 general elections, comprising 50 members.
The ruling coalition picked Abiye last week to replace Hailemariam Desalegn who quit to clear the way for reforms.
Oromiya, which surrounds the capital Addis Ababa, has been rocked by violence since 2015.
