The Chairman of Jigawa Forum, Prof. Muhammed Tabiu, made the appeal in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria in Dutse on Tuesday, while commenting on the two-day visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to the state.

The president stated this in Auyo, Jigawa State, at an event to mark the commencement of the rehabilitation and expansion of the 6,000-hectare Hadejia Valley irrigation project, on Monday.
