Ahmed made the call when the leadership of the Northern Consultative Forum and business mogul and Chairman, Doyin Group of Companies, Prince Samuel Adedoyin, separately paid condolence visits to him at the Government House, Ilorin on the death of Dr. Saraki

Babangida said this in Ilorin on Monday at the Government House, when he led a delegation, which included former Head of State, General Abubakar Abdulsalam; former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Ambassador Babagana Kinkigbe; Alhaji Umaru Ndanusa; and Alhaji Abubakar Muye on a condolence visit to Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed over the death of Saraki

While acknowledging the effort of the Kwara State Government in ensuring adequate water supply to the populace, the minister commended Ahmed’s acceptance to host the 3rd National Water Conference, which he later declared open

Ahmed, who made this assertion on a monthly interactive programme, ‘The Governor Explains’, said: “There is no magic to our been able to remain liquid other than the fact that we have been able to manage our expenditure within our revenue profile.”

According to Ahmed, the state will not only encourage the youths of the state to be groomed at its Youth Farm Centre in Malete, Moro Local Government Area, to go into large scale Moringa farming, but work out a system that will ensure availability of prepared farmland with irrigation system to enhance Moringa and other farming activities in the state
