Chairman of Ekiti SUBEB, Prof. Femi Akinwumi, while declaring open the workshop in Ikere-Ekiti on Saturday, said that the focus was to improve methodology for teaching of mathematics and science subjects in public schools.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that a Wuse Zone 2 Magistrate Court, Abuja, on March 16, gave the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, three weeks to produce two staff of OGFZA;  Wasiu Sule, the Head of Legal Services and Secretary to OGFZA’s Board and  Alenju Ngofa, who is the Human Resource Head of the organisation, for arraignment.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that on April 6,  judiciary workers, under the aegis of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), embarked on an indefinite nationwide strike demanding an enforcement of constitutional provisions and court judgments granting financial autonomy to the judiciary at both the state and federal levels.

A few days ago, bandits invaded the home of Prof. Aliyu Mohammed at Wusasa in Zaira, Kaduna State. They kidnapped him, killed his young son and shot his brother, not minding his religion or ethnicity. There have been countless cases of attacks on commuters on Abuja-Kaduna Expressway. The victims of these attacks have been Nigerians of all shades and contours.
