Fielding questions from newsmen at the event, Adams while thanking the South West Patriots Movement, with Awolowo Foundation and other supporting groups for the initiative, registered his support for the position of speakers at the event that meaningful development could be recorded in the South West’s educational and economic sectors only if it is able to secure regional autonomy.

When you have a dog that is preventing criminals from coming to your house and you take it to the veterinary to remove its teeth; when criminals come to your house, what will the dog use to fight them?

They also alleged that the sum of N20 million, which they claimed was paid as compensation to the OPC for the killing of our members in Owo in 2002, was diverted. Other allegations include an alleged sum of 22 million US dollars from the late Libyan leader, Ghadafi and diversion of ID cards money among others
