Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers has expressed sadness over the fire incident at the Fruits and Vegetables Market in Port Harcourt, declaring that his administration will assist the affected traders.
The agency gave the warning on Monday in Abuja in a statement signed by its management, saying that dangerous effects of carbide-ripened fruits include cancer and other illnesses.
According to her, a study done on some varieties of tropical plants showed essential nutritional components in eating fresh fruits and foods
“Fruits should be eaten alone on an empty stomach because when fruits are eaten, the digestive process works very quickly and the different enzymes digest the fruits.”
Hussain, who made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Kano on Friday, said increase in intake of fluids could help in curing the disease
