Fani-Kayode, The Eagle Online learnt, was released on Friday evening following the meeting and verification of his bail conditions

Fani-Kayode, who was also the Director of Media and Publicity in the campaign organisation of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, was arraigned alongside a former Finance Minister, Nenadi Usman, and Danjuma Yusuf

In his judgment, the judge, Justice Olukayode Adeniyi, held that the action of the EFFC was constitutional

The accused were alleged to have stolen and illegally disbursed about N4.9 billion belonging to the Federal Government of Nigeria for political and personal uses
