Fayose said it was embarrassing, shameful, disgraceful that a man of Falana’s stature, reputed to be a human rights activist, friend of the masses, crusader of justice and defender of democracy could be linked to such scandal.
Falana said: “Instead of piling up external loans the federal government should be compelled by the Nigerian people to embark on the immediate recovery and repatriation of hundreds of billions of dollars from the NNPC.”
Falana made the call on Tuesday in Abuja at the National Stakeholders’ Summit on Whistle-blowing, organised by the African Centre for Media and Information Literacy.
