Madumere made this remark while addressing a cross section of artisans and drivers at the Tipper Park, Nekkede Mechanic Village, Owerri, Imo State during free eye test and treatment for drivers and artisans organized by Nigerian Optometric Association, Imo State chapter in collaboration with Federal Road Safety Corps to mark the 2016 World Sight Day

The President of the Historical Society of Nigeria, Prof. Christopher Ogbogbo, who gave account of activities of the body so far, also informed his audience of the effort of the Society in ensuring that history is incorporated into the academic curricula of every level of education

Madumere congratulated Governor Okorocha for his effort in recreating Imo State to a modern and model State through his monumental feat in the area of road and infrastructural development
He also said he was on a fact finding to assess the extent of damage from the attacks of unknown hoodlums in the community and on how best to help the family and prevent such from recurring
He averred that the programme will serve as a vehicle through which message of hope, unity and good morals will be communicated to the people.
Prince Madumere also used the forum to also call on governments, captains of industries and corporate bodies to support the project since it will also create employment for teeming unemployed youth who are expected to be self employed
