A three-member panel, presided over by Justice Haruna Tsammani, granted the request in three rulings on the three ex-parte motions filed by Atiku and PDP; Obi and LP; and APM.
Jegede, who also congratulated the APC candidate on the victory, however, said his loss at the apex court had not reduced his respect for the judiciary.

The three-man panel of justices led by Theresa Ngolika Orji-Abadua, ruled after counsel to Jegede, Oyeachi Ikpeazu, SAN, argued that the sitting governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, was “not properly nominated” by his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), and so should be sacked.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Governor Rotimi AKeredolu of the All Progressives Congress emerged victorious at the October 10, 2020 poll and was affirmed winner by the April 20 judgment of the Ondo State Governorship Petitions Tribunal.
Jegede had approached the tribunal seeking the nullification of Akeredolu as the winner of the election.
Delivering a ruling, Justice Inyang Ekwo dismissed the suit filed by Olajumoke Anifowose, an APC aspirant in the poll.

That political jokester, Agboola Ajayi, and his master, former Governor of the state, Olusegun Mimiko, of the Zenith Labour Party polled a miserable 69,127 votes. What that means is that even if the highly-trumpeted alliance of Jegede and Ajayi had seen the light of the day, it most likely wouldn’t have been able to upstage Akeredolu.

Prof. Abel Olayinka, the Returning Officer of INEC, who is also the Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, said that Akeredolu got 292,830 votes to defeat Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party who got 195,791 votes while Ajayi Agboola of Zenith Labour Party got 69,127 votes.
He scored 13,383.
Akeredolu was declared winner on Sunday after results from the 18 local government areas of the state were collated and declared
He scored 26,657.
Results from 16 LGAs announced so far
Results officially announced by the INEC LG Collation Officers revealed that the governor scored 23,571 votes.
Akeredolu, who was leading in nine of the12 local governments earlier announced, has won in three more local government areas of Ose, Okitipupa, and Ondo West.
The result for the LGA was announced on Sunday morning by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
