President Muhammadu Buhari on February 5, signed the Executive Order 5 to improve local content in public procurement with science, engineering and technology components.
The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, on Thursday said the Federal Government has begun auditing of construction sites to ensure enforcement of the Executive Order 5.
Falana said this at the ongoing Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria’s congress in Abuja, with the theme: “Standardisation and Innovative Technologies for Sustainable Development in Nigeria’s Construction Industry.”
