The Enugu State House of Assembly has approved the N170b loan requested by Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State to execute some major projects in the state.

The governor will also on Tuesday, at the Government House, swear in all the 68 Development Centre Administrators whose nominations were recently confirmed by the Enugu State House of Assembly.
The group, in a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Chief Willy Ezugwu, said the bill, which has passed its first reading, must be killed immediately by the state lawmakers for the peace and tranquility in the state’s political arena to be sustained.

The budget, which has a recurrent size of N39.4 billion and a capital allocation of N53.9 billion when it was presented on December 10, 2013, had the capital size increased with N478 million to bring the capital expenditure to N54.4 billion
