The Forum made the call in a communiqué issued by its Chairman and Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, in Abuja on Monday after its 20th emergency meeting.

“I vehemently denounce the violent attacks on the protesters and I call on the security agencies to ensure that the dastardly act is addressed immediately. The daredevil attackers must be identified, arrested, and prosecuted immediately. The attack must not go unchallenged,” the Governor said in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary Rafiu Ajakaye.
Magashi gave the caution when the National Coordinator of the Buhari Campaign Organisation, Danladi Pasali, led the Executives drawn from its Headquarters, Zonal and State levels on a courtesy visit to him at the Ministry of Defence, Ship House, Abuja.

The coalition made this known at a news conference on the state of the nation on the violent repression of peaceful #EndSARS protesters across the country.

Unidentified hoodlums had swooped on the protesters, who converged at the popular King’s Square in the early hours of Friday.
Olayemi Success, one of the leaders of the CSOs, who addressed newsmen, said that the CSOs were worried that the protesters were distracting security agencies from focusing on the task of protecting Nigerians against criminals.
The Minister also urged the police boss to accelerate the reforms promised and as directed by President Muhammadu Buhari.
