He noted that this year’s customer service week is very significant because it celebrates the resilience, strength, and tenacity of customer service practitioners, in the face of the new normal that has been forced on the world by the corona virus pandemic.
The Managing Director, EKEDC, Mr Adeoye Fadeyibi, made the appeal during a visit of the Senate Committee on Privatisation to the company on Tuesday in Lagos.
The company in a goodwill message released on Monday by its General Manager, Corporate Communications, Godwin Idemudia said “As we commemorate this year’s Eid El Kabir, we congratulate our Muslim customers for yet another celebration. There is no doubt, that among other lessons, Eid El Kabir offers a reminder that with total submission to the will of Almighty God, we can overcome our challenge and adversity”.
NERC, which is the regulator of Nigeria’s electricity sector, also approved N93.76 billion for Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) to upgrade infrastructure across its network within the same period.
