The defendants: Ibrahim Ganiyu, 40; Joshua Daniel, 38; Afolabi Sunday, 45; Ikuobe Sunday, 46; Alonge Banji, 35; and Yusuf Ozigi, 32, whose addresses were unknown, are facing a two-count charge of burglary and stealing.

According to a press statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Idowu Adelusi, Fayose said this while personally dressing up some kids in Ekiti State, who benefitted from his provision of Christmas clothing for over 20,000 children in the state.

According to a press statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Idowu Adelusi, in Ado Ekiti on Saturday, Dr. Jonathan stated this in a goodwill message he sent to Fayose to mark the governor’s 57th birthday.
The governor gave the order on Wednesday when he met with the management of the banks and some aggrieved customers in Ado-Ekiti.
Fayose had in reaction to recent massacre of two students of the Ekiti State University sponsored a bill for death penalty for student cultists found in the state.

Contrary to insinuations that he is a versed to the national chairmanship position of the party coming to the South West, the governor said he would never work against the interest of any aspirant or work against interest of the zone.
The governor also congratulated Governor Willie Obiano for his landmark victory in the election, saying that the results clearly showed that connection to the people was key to winning an election.
The governor said it is shameful that Nigeria, which produced the likes of African Development Bank President, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina; Treasurer and Vice President of the World Bank, Aruma Otteh; Independent Non-Executive Director of Standard Chartered Plc, United Kingdom, Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; Professor of Political Economy, Pat Utomi, among others is now paying people from Malaysia to revive its economy.
Governor Fayose made this assertion in Ado Ekiti on Saturday while receiving Otunba Daniel’s campaign team in continuation of the team’s nationwide tour ahead of the PDP National Convention coming up on December 9, 2017.

He said: “My wishes on my 57th birthday as Ayo Fayose are many, but one of them, which will interest you, is that I wish President Buhari’s congratulatory call would have woken me up today as one of the governors in the country, as a father of the nation and as a leading opposition figures in the country.
