The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Fayemi had hosted leaders and scores of members of the party from all the 16 Local Government Areas and the 177 Wards of the state.

Oyegun made the remark in Ado Ekiti during the kick-off of fresh membership registration drive of the APC in Ekiti.
The Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, said in a statement on Monday that the fact that Fayose has declared support for Olusola for the PDP governorship ticket did not stop other leaders and members of the PDP from also exercising their democratic rights of supporting aspirants of their choice.
The move followed the decision of the National Executive Council of the party to conduct a nationwide continuous membership registration exercise to enable all prospective eligible persons register as members of the party.

Fayose said his strong political ties with the Ekiti State electorate and his performance as a governor would make the victory easy as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The government said there was no going back on its resolve to put a stop to indiscriminate mounting of billboards and littering of the environment with posters and leaflets.

Olayinka challenged Ojudu to tell Ekiti State people one benefit that was derived from his four years as a senator.
Ojudu, who is the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Political Matters, disclosed this on Friday at Ado-Ekiti at his declaration ceremony for the July 14 governorship poll.

Fayose said: “Obviously, the President is more concerned about his reelection in 2019 and his visit to those States that he abandoned during their times of trouble is to seek for votes, not to sympathize with the people of the States on their loses.”
State Publicity Secretary of the party, Jackson Adebayo, who was reacting to report that the APC was proposing a budget of N15 billion for the Ekiti and Osun States governorship election said it was laughable that a party controlling the federal government that did nothing for Ekiti State since it assumed power in 2015 could be raising N15 billion for election.
He said that all was set for the official declaration of his intention to seek the APC’s ticket at the party’s secretariat on March 7.
Raji said: “We still have 215,000 PVCs that are yet to be claimed by the electorate, few months to the governorship election, despite our sensitization programmes.
