The arrest of the woman on December 22, 2020 was confirmed by the spokesman of the Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a statement on Monday.

The arrest was effected on December 16, 2020, according to the spokesman of the Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, on Thursday.
Some robbers had an encounter with policemen on Sunday, leading to the death of one of them.
The spokesman of the Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said while the Command recognises that it is the right of citizens to employ protest to express their grievances over issues of governance, there is however nothing at present that calls for such protest in the gateway state, except for those who see trouble making as a lucrative business.
The suspect was arrested following information received by policemen attached to Ogere Divisional Headquarters that four men were sighted around Agunwarogo area of Ogere and their movement suspicious.
The suspect, an indigene of Ebonyi State, was arrested following a distress call received by the police at Shagamu Division at about 8:30pm that armed robbers were operating along Shagamu-Ikenne Road.
The all male suspects, identified as Bamidele Oluwashina, 31; Adebowale Kehinde, 32; and Oluwasegun Abayomi, were arrested following a distress call received by the police at Onipanu Divisional Headquarters at about 9:30pm on November 12, 2020 that robbers have invaded Iju Love Bus Stop and tipper garage, wielding dangerous weapons and dispossessing people of their valuables.
The armed robbers confronted the police in the gun battle in the early hours of Monday, according to available information.
The spokesman of the Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, stated this on Sunday in a statement.
The new appointments were announced by the Force Public Relations Officer, Deputy Commissioner of Police Frank Mba, in a statement on Tuesday
