With the theme “Let There Be Light”, this year marks the 16th edition of the Light-up Ceremony at the Ajose Adeogun Roundabout. Onyeagwu made the call at the hybrid 4th Edition of the Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit 2021 on Tuesday.

According to the judges, he was selected for a plethora of reasons, key among these practices include a robust Environmental and Social Management System for screening credit facilities and continued investment in social initiatives in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and for joining 131 other banks from across the globe as a founding signatory to the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative Principles for Responsible Banking.
This is coming on the heels of the awards as the Most Valuable Banking Brand in Nigeria and the Number One Bank in Nigeria by Tier-1 Capital by The Banker won earlier in the year.
