Jamoh stated this in Lagos while receiving members of the National Fleet Implementation Committee, who paid him a courtesy visit at the Agency’s headquarters.
A letter signed by the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Stephen Okodudu, said Jamoh was chosen by virtue of his position as Director-General of NIMASA, stressing that his appointment “is an eloquent testimony to your outstanding contributions to national development.”
Philip Kyanet, Head, Corporate Communications, NIMASA, issued the ultimatum in a statement on Sunday in Lagos.
The Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, Dr. Bashir Jamoh, who conveyed the Ministry’s position to the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Hajiya Zainab Ahmed, in Abuja, reiterated the commitment of the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, towards ensuring the growth of maritime in Nigeria.
The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, announced this when the Director-General of NIMASA, Dr. Bashir Jamoh, paid a working visit to the Nigerian Air Force headquarters in Abuja.
The promotions were approved at a meeting of the Board in Lagos, chaired by Hon. Asita O. Asita.
Jamoh stated this on Tuesday in Lagos while reacting to a recent incident where a container fell from a truck and landed on a commercial vehicle, killing the occupants, including two employees of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria.
