The Federal Government has offered for subscription two-year saving bonds at 12.05 per cent and three-year savings bond at 13.05 per cent per annum, the Debt Management Office has said.

The Debt Management Office says the Federal Government is to auction by subscription N150 billion worth of bonds on January 30.
The Federal Government has commenced the 2019 savings bonds sales by offering for subscription two-year savings bond at 12.12 per cent and three-year savings bond at 13.12 per cent, the Debt Management Office has said.
The DMO said in a circular issued via its website on Wednesday in Abuja that the five-year re-opening bonds of N20 billion, which would mature in April 2023, was offered at 12.75 per cent.
The call was made following a motion moved by Marafa, at plenary on Thursday.
The Federal Government on Monday offered for subscription two-year savings bond at 12.40 per cent and three-year savings bond at 13.40 per cent, the Debt Management Office has said.
The DMO said in a circular on its website on Tuesday in Abuja, that the five-year bonds of N35 billion to mature in April 2023 was offered at 12.75 per cent.
The Debt Management Office says the Federal Government raised N88.08 billion at its bond auction on Wednesday, as part of moves to finance the 2018 budget.
The revelation about the financial records of Ekiti was contained in a document submitted to the DMO office in Abuja by officials of the state government in July, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday.
A document obtained from the Debt Management Office on Wednesday in Abuja, titled: ‘States, Federal Capital Territory and Federal Governments’ External Debt Stock as at June 30, 2018,’ also detailed other states’ external debts.
A statement issued in Abuja by the DMO on Thursday said N90 billion worth of bonds were offered in three tenors of five, seven and 10 years.
The Debt Management Office, DMO, says the Federal Government raised N66.9 billion at its bond auction on Wednesday, as part of moves to finance the 2018 budget.
The Director-General of DMO, Patience Oniha, in a statement issued by the Office, disclosed that Nigeria has a subsisting debt management strategy.
According to the offer circular on the DMO website, the two-year bond will be due in July 2020 while the three-year bond will be due in July 2021.
The offer circular obtained from its website on Tuesday in Abuja,
said that it would sell N10 billion of a five year re-opening bond maturing in July 2021 at 14.50 per cent.

The statement said the $1.5 billion Federal Government Eurobond due 2027 at 6.5 per cent and $1.5 billion notes due 2047 under its global medium-term note programme Eurobonds were also listed.
Media reports quoting DMO figures had on Monday claimed that Fayose had borrowed N56 billion since assumption of office.
The green bond is being issued following Nigeria’s endorsement of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change of September 21, 2016, with the aim of strengthening global response to the threat.
According to the offer circular obtained from the DMO website, the two-year bond will be due in June 2019, while the three-year bond will be due in June 2020.
